Grey Cenospheres

Cenospheres, also called alumosilicate microspheres, are hollow spheres made largely of silica and alumina with diameter of 20 – 500 µm, filled with gas, mostly carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

Grey Cenospheres have high content of SiO2 and Fe2O3 and lower content of Al2O3.

Grey Cenospheres are more common than White Cenospheres and can be used  for example for
mortars, plasters, roofing materials
special cement mortars, concrete mortars, insulation materials and sound absorbing materials  in construction, automotive industry, paints and coatings and many others.

The multitude of uses makes cenosphere a most demanded ultralight mineral filler.
